TL;DR, I think the logo for the Wolfenstein Wiki is a little... eh? I mean, it's a low quality image, for one. And all it is is the modern Wolfenstein W with the text "Wolfenstein Wiki" next to it. Nothing Wolfenstein-y but the logo. So I propose a logo change. Should anybody in the power to do so in changing the logo see this, I ask you to consider.

So recently, I've gone through the game files of Wolfenstein and found some interesting things. we're missing a lot of sound effects, but the .sfx files list some really juicy entries. for instance, there are a LOT of cut weapons including the shotgun (probably a Winchester 1897, though only some entries for shells dropping exist.), an M1918 BAR (which can be seen as a prop in the black market), an M1911 (again, can be seen as a prop in the black market.), an M1A1 Carbine, an FG42, a Springfield M1903, a Lee-Enfield rifle (which even had a render.), a PPS-43 (which appears in some multiplayer concept art.), the M1A1 Thompson, a Sten, some alternate Leichenfaust 44 sounds, a Veil turret, an AK-42 (whatever that might be.), a Tesla Gun, a Flak 88 (which appears in multiplayer, but in prop form only.), and some grenades; a Freeze Grenade, a Shock Grenade, and a Smoke Grenade. medkits and food were once again to appear instead of the Call of Duty-style regenerating health, the fists were meant to be usable (which we already knew, based on the unused script for it.), the player was supposed to have audible footsteps and gear foley sounds along with some grunting noises related to melee combat. there were some enemies called Occultist and Illusionist, the latter possibly being similar to the Wraith from DOOM III, based on the sound effect names. there are unused dialogue bits for the Wehrmacht Infantry, the Mistress, Erik Eagle, members of the Kreisau Circle, Heavy Troopers, Sergei Kovlov (in text-to-speech form.), Golden Dawn (probably for the slums mission, which was also cut.), and Stefan Kriege. concept art shows a Double Agent character who was cut, some cut enemies known as Nazi Infected including the Spitter and Skuldt (the latter being more of a tankier enemy.), a Nazi Ogre, some officers, an enemy known as the Paranormal Commander (probably got turned into the Scribe.), a Paranormal Sharpshooter (includes a retro-futuristic rifle, possibly the AK-42.), Rocket Trooper, Sniffer, Queen Geist, and Uber Scientist. there's more to it than these, but I'd probably make a small novel if I continued. I'd love to see more of this stuff. hopefully, someone at ID Software still has access to all of this stuff. I'd love to have it all, even if unplayable. just for keepsake. I'm gonna update some of the pages to include entries on this cut content and fix all of these pages that use Saving Private Ryan screenshots.

I was reading through the page for Zofia Blazkowicz, and saw in the trivia section, "Zofia's character is probably based on the alleged personality of Klara Hitler, Adolf Hitler's mother." I find this baffling, considering at no point are these characters compared to in the games. As far as I can tell, the developers have never cited Klara Hitler as an inspiration for the character of Zofia either.

This theory is repeated again in the article for Klara Hitler, "In Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus, the personality of Zofia Blazkowicz was similar to the personality of Klara Hitler. They were both benevolent and religious (Klara believed in Catholicism and Zofia believed in Judaism), and cared about their children a lot, willing to stand against their abusive husbands for their children." Again, this seems like an extremely tenuous connection between the two characters that has no evidence in the actual games nor by the creators. For that matter I'm not even sure why Klara Hitler has a page, when she in not a character actually depicted in the games. The extent of her presence is when Adolf Hitler calls Helene Winter "mommy." This article reads not as being informative, but existing solely to justify someone posting these theories in the trivia section.

I did go ahead and attempt to delete these pieces of trivia. I also tried to delete trivia under Zofia Blazkowicz, "Though Rip calls her Jewish, there's a possibility that she has heritage by this from Poland," for being grammatically confusing and more speculation than actual trivia. These edits were reverted by user DanielSmith1967 with the explanations "Fandom Wiki is not the same as Wikipedia," and "This section doesn’t need many references." Are these the editorial guidelines for this wiki? If so, I don't think this wiki will be useful as a source of information for the Wolfenstein series.
