The Springfield M1903 is a weapon cut from Wolfenstein. although no models or sound effects exist for it, the weapons.sfx file found in the assets.pk4 list some sound effects under the "weapons/springfield" folder. the sound effects are springfield1903_bolt_close.wav, springfield1903_bolt_open.wav, springfield_fire_beef.wav, springfield1903_ready.wav, and springfield1903_reload.wav, although the sound effects aren't present in the game files and only exist in entry form. furthermore, concept art appears for multiplayer team classes, showing the Resistance Engineer holding a scoped Springfield M1903 rifle.
